Colombo, 14 August 2026 – In a significant event blending governance with intellectual pursuit, Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), and Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), graced the launch of two new books authored by Dr. Roshanie Dissanayake, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.
The prestigious ceremony, held on 13 August at the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA), marked the unveiling of the two publications, both collectively titled ‘Nirisan’ (නිරිසන්).
