- The Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces are anticipated to receive numerous showers.
- Districts such as Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya should also prepare for multiple rain spells throughout the day.
- Isolated rain or thundershowers are probable after 2:00 PM in certain areas of the Eastern and Uva provinces, as well as the Mullaitivu district.

Fairly strong winds, with speeds occasionally reaching 30-40 kmph, are forecast for the western slopes of the Central hills. Similar conditions are expected in the North Central and North Western provinces, and in the districts of Hambantota and Matale. - However, off the coast from Hambantota to Pottuvil, wind speeds could significantly increase, occasionally reaching 50-60 kmph.
- Similarly, in the sea areas off the coast stretching from Kankesanthurai to Puttalam via Mannar, wind speeds may occasionally rise to 50 kmph.
Sea State:
- The sea areas off the coast extending from Hambantota to Pottuvil are expected to be rough occasionally.
- Off the coast from Kankesanthurai to Puttalam via Mannar, the sea will be fairly rough occasionally.
- Furthermore, sea waves could potentially rise to heights of 2.0 – 2.5 meters in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Pottuvil, via Colombo, Galle, and Matara. Fishing communities and naval operations are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution.
