FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka’s rupee was quoted at 311.00/10 to the US dollar in the spot market Friday, from 311.00/05 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields were broadly steady.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 was quoted flat at 9.55/60 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.03.2030 was quoted at 9.60/66 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 was quoted at 9.65/75 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.10.2032 was quoted at 10.22/25 percent, down from 10.20/30 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 was quoted flat at 10.47/53 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 was quoted at 10.50/60 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.06.2034 was quoted at 10.70/75 percent, up from 10.70/73 percent.
The telegraphic transfer rates for the American dollar were 307.5000 buying, 314.5000 selling; the British pound was 409.7776 buying, and 421.0810 selling, and the euro was 351.8071 buying, 363.2265 selling.
On the Colombo Stock Exchange, the ASPI was down 0.66 percent, or 144.18 points, at 21,843.94; and the S&P SL20 was down 0.71 percent, or 43.72 points, at 6,128.56. (Colombo/Mar13/2026)
