Maharaja Foods of Sri Lanka Launches New Shares Following Successful Rights Issue

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka’s Maharaja Foods announced the listing of 12,500,000 new ordinary voting shares following a rights issue. According to a filing with the stock exchange, the company successfully raised 112,500,000 rupees.

The stock was trading down by 80 cents at 12.50 rupees. (Colombo/Mar16/2026)
