Coca-Cola Sri Lanka has been named Youth Choice Beverage Brand of the Year at the SLIM-Kantar People’s Awards 2026, marking its fifth consecutive win in the category.

Organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) in partnership with Kantar, the SLIM-Kantar People’s Awards are among Sri Lanka’s most recognised consumer-voted award platforms, recognising brands across a wide range of categories based on public opinion. The awards are regarded as a reflection of consumer sentiment and brand preference across the country.

For Coca-Cola Sri Lanka, the recognition comes within a consumer segment shaped by changing habits, emerging platforms, and shifting cultural influences. Over five consecutive years, the brand has remained among those chosen by young consumers, while continuing to be part of shared moments in everyday life.

Commenting on the recognition, Coca-Cola Sri Lanka Country Director, Mario Perera, said, “From the outset, our focus has been on staying close to how young Sri Lankans live, connect, and spend their time, recognising that expectations continue to evolve. This recognition speaks to that ongoing effort, and we remain focused on how we continue to engage with people and communities in meaningful ways.”

Beyond its presence as a beverage brand, Coca-Cola Sri Lanka has also supported a range of initiatives spanning education, community development, and environmental action. These efforts form part of the company’s broader engagement with the communities it serves, including younger audiences.

Among these is Coca-Cola Sri Lanka’s Give Back Life initiative, which focuses on water stewardship, including water replenishment, conservation, and supporting community access to water resources. The programme has been implemented across multiple locations in Sri Lanka, with activities that have also involved local communities and youth in environmental awareness and conservation efforts.

Coca-Cola Sri Lanka extended its appreciation to consumers across the country for their continued support, marking an important milestone for the brand.
