If we peel back the layers of the NPP’s crusade against corruption, we find ourselves at a fascinating junction. It’s one thing to promise a “clean-up” from the comfort of an opposition bench; it’s quite another to do it while holding the broom. “Turning Point” breakdown of the pros and cons of the current administration’s anti-corruption strategy.
The Anti-Corruption Ledger: Pros vs. Cons

The Faraz Perspective

“It’s all very well to have the moral high ground, Mr. President, but the view from up there can be a bit lonely if nobody’s following you. You’ve promised to drain the swamp, but you’re discovering that the swamp is deeper than we thought and full of very slippery eels.
The danger is that if the ‘big fish’ aren’t fried soon, the public will start to think the whole anti-corruption drive is just a very elaborate—and very expensive—theatrical production. You can’t pay the electricity bill with ‘intentions,’ and you can’t run a country on ‘integrity’ alone. The clock is ticking, and the people want more than just a clean shirt; they want a full plate.”
