This collaboration introduces a streamlined dividend pay-out system designed to bolster capital market infrastructure and simplify the investment process for both issuers and investors.

Under this partnership, formalized through a service agreement, NDB provides listed companies on the CSE with a dedicated system for seamless handling of dividend pay-outs. The service offers a variety of disbursement options, including electronic funds transfers, cheque processing, and other customized methods, which enable shareholders to benefit from faster, direct transfers that minimize delays and errors.

Representing a significant advancement in improving the dividend distribution process, this partnership enhances companies’ investor relations efforts. It is part of a broader CDS initiative to streamline engagement in Sri Lanka’s capital market by offering innovative cash management solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the market.
