Sanjay Kulatunga Joins WindForce Board of Directors

WindForce PLC has announced the appointment of Mr. Sanjay Kulatunga as an Independent, Non-Executive Director to its Board, effective from March 3, 2026. This follows the resignation of Mr. Dilshan Hettiaratchi. The addition of Mr. Kulatunga is set to enhance the company’s governance framework, strategic oversight, and long-term decision-making capabilities.

Mr. Kulatunga has a distinguished record as a founder, entrepreneur, and senior executive in both financial services and export-oriented industries. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of LYNEAR Wealth Management, a boutique investment firm founded in 2013. Under his leadership, LYNEAR has grown to be one of Sri Lanka’s largest private wealth management institutions, catering to high-net-worth individuals as well as local and international institutional clients.

Before establishing LYNEAR, Mr. Kulatunga played a key role in founding Amba Research, an investment research offshoring firm initially based in Sri Lanka and now operating as part of Acuity Analytics.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kulatunga has significantly contributed to several national institutions. His previous roles include membership in the Financial Sector Stability Consultative Committee of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, serving on the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka. In 2024, he was appointed as a Member of the Colombo Port City Economic Commission, highlighting his ongoing involvement in national economic development initiatives.

Beyond his corporate and public sector engagements, Mr. Kulatunga serves as a Trustee of the Geoffrey Bawa and Lunuganga Trust and as the Honorary Consul General for Sweden in Sri Lanka. These roles underscore his dedication to culture, heritage, and international relations.
