Mr. Masato Kanda, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), met with Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), last Monday (23) during his three-day official visit to Sri Lanka.
The discussion was centered on current economic developments, ongoing reform efforts, and policies related to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The meeting was also attended by Hon. (Dr.) Anil Jayantha Fernando, Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment and Deputy Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development; Hon. (Dr.) Harshana Suriyapperuma, Secretary to the Treasury; Mr. Duminda Hulangamuwa, Senior Economic Advisor to the President; Mr. Mahinda Siriwardena, Alternate Executive Director of the ADB; Ms. Shannon Cowlin, Country Director of the ADB Sri Lanka Resident Mission; and Mr. Keiichiro Inui, Chief Advisor to the President of ADB.
