Emirates Adjusts Flight Schedule Until March 7 Due to Regional Airspace Restrictions

Emirates has announced plans to continue operating a limited flight schedule from March 5 until 23:59 UAE time on March 7, 2026, due to ongoing airspace closures in the region. In an update released at 15:30 Dubai time on March 4, the airline stated that it is prioritizing customers with earlier bookings on the limited services currently available. Passengers transiting through Dubai will only be accepted for travel if their onward connecting flights are confirmed to be operating.

The airline strongly advised customers not to proceed to the airport unless they have received direct notification from Emirates or hold a confirmed booking on an operating flight. Emirates assured that it continues to closely monitor developments and will adjust its operational schedule as necessary. The latest flight updates are being published on its official website, and customers are urged to check their flight status and email notifications before traveling to the airport.

Rebooking and Refund Options

Passengers affected by cancellations have been offered flexible options. Customers may rebook on an alternative flight to their intended destination for travel on or before March 27. Those who booked through travel agents are advised to contact their agents directly, while customers who booked with Emirates can reach out to the airline.

Alternatively, customers holding bookings for travel on or before March 12 may request a refund by completing the refund form, provided the ticket was purchased directly from Emirates. Those who booked through travel agents must coordinate refunds through their respective agents.

The airline also requested customers to ensure their contact details are updated via the “Manage Your Booking” portal to receive timely notifications regarding any changes. Meanwhile, all city check-in facilities across Dubai have been temporarily closed until further notice.

Emirates expressed appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding, reiterating that the safety and security of passengers and crew remain its highest priority.
