The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) has announced the organization of ‘Sri Lanka Expo 2026’, an international trade exhibition aimed at connecting local businesses with global buyers and investors. This significant event is slated for June 18th to 21st, 2026, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.

Participants in this exhibition will have the chance to engage with over 1,500 international buyers and investors. Furthermore, exhibitors can schedule pre-arranged business meetings with prospective buyers.

A total of 650 exhibition booths are allocated for Sri Lankan exporters, export-oriented enterprises, and businesses with export potential across various sectors, highlighting the diversity of Sri Lanka’s export economy.

The Industrial Products category includes Apparel, Textiles and Fashion, Rubber, Plastic and Chemical Products, Gems and Jewelry, Engineering and Automotive Components, Boat & Shipbuilding, Marine Services, Electrical and Electronic Products, Minerals and Mineral-based Products, Giftware, Lifestyle & Handicrafts, Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices, and Printing and Packaging.

The Agro-Industrial Products category encompasses Tea, Spices & Concentrates, Coconut-based Products, Seafood/Edible Fish Products, Processed Foods and Beverages, Ayurveda, Herbal & Cosmetic Products, Cut Flowers and Foliage, Ornamental Fish, Fruits & Vegetables.

The Export Services category features Information and Communication Technology/Business Process Management, Tourism, Logistics Services, Construction & Renewable Energy, Wellness & Healthcare Services, and other services.

Sri Lankan exporters, export-oriented businesses, and companies with export potential are encouraged to apply. Given the limited number of exhibition booths, a screening process will determine the selection of qualified exhibitors.

The application deadline is March 31, 2026, with notifications for selected participants expected in the first week of April 2026.
